NPFL23: We Had A Fair Game Against Doma; Enugu State Commissioner Of Sports; Lloyd

Following Rangers International’s 2-1 win against Doma United, the Enugu state commissioner of Sports, Lloyd Ekweremadu has branded the result fair.

Speaking after the encounter at the Awka Township Stadium, Llyod who regretted Rangers missed chances, expressed optimism for the team ahead of the new season.

“I think it was a fair result, it was a good result for our team, we did very well, honestly I think we should have scored more goals but it’s just the beginning of the season”.

“It just showed us that there is alot to work on even though it was a fantastic performance from our players”, he added.

Still playing their games in Awka, Anambra State, the flying Antelopes started their 2023/2024 NPFL campaign by earning all three points against Doma United.

Two first half goals from Nweke Kalu (29min) and Onyemachi Austin (39min) ensured Samuel Owuke second half strike for Doma was a mere consolation as Rangers won it.

Rangers next game is billed for Ikenne against Remo Stars on Sunday October 8
