CAFCC: Bendel Insurance Beat Algeria’s AS Chlef On Penalties, Progresses To Next Round

Nigeria’s FA Cup reigning champions Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin, has progress to the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederations Cup after a 4-3 penalty shootout victory over ASO Chlef in Algiers.

ASO Chlef won 1-0 to level aggregate at 1-1.

Recall that Insurance won the first leg of the game by the same scoreline at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.

Insurance FC left Benin on Wednesday with their proprietor Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state at the Benin Airport to bid them farewell, promising more surprised packages and improved welfare for them.
