LATEST: Rangers International Former Team Manager, Amobi Ezeaku, Linked To General Manager Position

Reports say, Former Rangers International Team Manager, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku is set to take charge as General Manager of the flying Antelopes.

Amobi was team manager of the Rangers when they won the NPFL title in 2016.

Rangers who just appointed Fidelis Ilechukwu as Head coach for the 2023/2024 Nigeria Primere League season, NPL, has been without a General Manager and a Team Manager, since the former, Davison Owunmi left the club in 2021.

Owunmi a former Rangers player and national team player was announced as Rangers CEO in 2017.

Currently in Switzerland, Amobi Ezeaku was recently included in a historic new group by the world football governing body (FIFA), the Independent Integrity Experts and Pro bono counsel groups.

Created For the first time, FIFA revealed in a statement that the group has 41 member appointed, which Amobi is inclusive.

Respected as on of the youngest football administrator’s in the continent, (Africa) the former Rangers TM is profiled with a UEFA Certificate in Football Management.

The UEFA CFM is the must-have foundation programme for anyone working in a football organisation who wants to gain a comprehensive understanding of how the game is managed.

The vacant position of the General Manager in Rangers has called for concerns over the years as both fans and supporters have frowned on why the Enugu state government neglected appointing anyone for the top position in the club.
