The skipper of Heartland FC, Nnaemeka Anyanwu has come out boldly to declare their readiness and determination to amass the maximum points in their last group game against an already qualified Sporting Lagos on Wednesday in the on-going NNL super 8 championship in Asaba.

Speaking Exclusively to Exclusive News in the aftermath of Heartland’s crucial 1-0 victory over FC One Rocket today in Asaba, the veteran defender opined that the team are ready to go through the burning flames in a bid to regain their status as a traditional team in the elite league next season.

“The victory today definitely will spur us into finishing the tast against Sporting Lagos in our last game, it tont be an east game either, but our destiny seem to be in our hands, and we won’t let it slip into the drains, we are within touching distance to returning to the Premier league, it’s a make or mar clash, I must say we are battle ready”.

The Naze Millionaires having garnered 4 points after 2 matches without a defeat, are placed firmly in the second position in group B and would be needing just a point in their last game against an already qualified Sporting Lagos on Wednesday for a return to the Nigeria Premier League next season.
