NAIJA SUPER 8: Finidi Not Satisfied With Enyimba Performance Despite Heartland Win, Rivers United, Bendel Insurance Clash Today.

Head coach of Enyimba football club of Aba, George Finidi said he is not impressed with the performance of his players despite Saturday’s victory against Heartland FC of Owerri.

The Aba Elephant defeated the Naze Millionaires 1-0 to secure a place in the finals of the Naija Super 8 tournament, with Murphy Ndukwu netting the winner in 25 minute of the encounter.

Speaking after the game, Finidi claimed his player’s display in the game was not good enough.

“I’m happy we won but not happy with the way we played, especially in the second half.

“Overall we had chances to score a second goal but I am not happy about the play. We were lucky they didn’t get an equaliser.”

On Sunday (today), Rivers United and Bendel Insurance will battle for a South-South ticket, while Kano Pillars and Katsina United will fight for the North West slot.

The Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos will host the Super Eight finals between July 7 to July 16.
