FEDERATIONS CUP: We Have Been Relegated, Reward Effort For Success, Rangers Supporters Club Urge Enugu State Government.

Rangers Supporters’ club Chairman, Dr. Uchenna Orji has called on the Enugu State Government to always reward people who put in effort to gaurantee success of his administration.

Orji gave this advise on Wednesday in Enugu saying that supporters club effort had been relegated to the background towards the Federation cup final in Asaba.

He said that the injustice will not stop the supporters club from carrying out their expected duty towards Rangers FC and ensuring that the state remain a top team in Nigeria football.

“How on earth will the the Governor of this state release up to N5 million for this final in one hand and only 100k was given to the supporters club.

“The supporters club have been working hard to deliver this FA Cup to the governor as a welcome gift following his swearing in as the executive governor of the state.

“I pray against the negative antics of the very selfish individuals who are working against the success of Rangers, Rangers must be great again,”he said.

Orji said, Thank God that our darling team, Rangers FC qualified to the federation Cup final which will hold today in Asaba.

“From the bottom of my heart I wish Rangers international success in that encounter not we standing that the club escaped relegation at the last days of the season.

“We have been following Rangers for almost all the matches including away matches with little stipend but was focused on helping club avoid relegation and to put the state name at the Pinnacle is sports.

“Thank God once more we were not relegated and to the glory of God, Rangers FC went into the FA Cup an entirely different team with more vigour and commitment.

“It is the commitment that helped them book a place for this years FA Cup final to be played today at Asaba against Bendel Insurance,” the chairman said.

He said, since Rangers FC secured the final slot, people that do not play any role to the club success are now taken the front seat.

“Individuals praying for Rangers to go down to score useless political point are now going around the government house requesting for money to be used for one thing or the other in this years FA Cup final.

“These are selfish individuals who claim to be close to the Governor and taking huge amount of money for their own selfish interests leaving out those that have been cheering the club in good and bad,” Orji alleged.

Rangers will play Bedel Insurance in the 2023 FA Cup Final on Wednesday at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta state.
