Tottenham Manager Search Continues As Slot Signs New Feyenoord Deal

Arne Slot, who ruled himself out of the running to take over at Tottenham, has signed a new contract at Feyenoord.

Slot together with his agent Rafaela Pimenta meet with Feyenoord Chiefs on Wednesday for crucial talks with regards to his future, subsequently, the 44-year-old’s new deal will keep him at the Dutch champions until June 2026.

“I’m not done here yet,” Slot said after the announcement of his new deal

“We have had a wonderful season with Feyenoord, with the championship as a wonderful reward for all the hard work that has been put in, but I really want to continue building.

“After the summer, an adventure awaits in the Champions League and there is a national title to defend. Enough to look forward to, so I am proud to be and remain Feyenoord’s trainer in Rotterdam.

Slot was appointed manager of the Dutch side in December 2020 after leaving after leaving his first managerial position at AZ Alkmaar.

With the new twist, he now joins former Bayern Munich manager, Julian Nagelsmann and current Bayern Leverkusen’s gaffer in rulling them self out of the job at Tottenham.
